I worked in residential construction, first as a project manager and then as a senior project manager. Process improvement was always front of mind. AI gave me another way to put that work into practice.

Do I need to be technical?

Is this an AI sales pitch?

What does a recommendation look like?

This example is hypothetical. An owner spends 45 minutes copying job details each weekday: 45 × 5 = 225 minutes a week. Suppose a proposed process takes 10 minutes a day plus a 20-minute weekly review: (10 × 5) + 20 = 70 minutes. That leaves 155 minutes, or 2 hours and 35 minutes, potentially reclaimed each week.

At an assumed rate of $80 an hour, that time is worth about $207 a week before software costs. It is a time-value estimate, not cash savings. A real assessment names the fix, verifies its current price and limits, and includes setup time and ongoing costs. You test the assumptions before relying on the estimate.
